Hafez Awards noms for best soundtrack published

Latest edition of the Hafez Awards in Iran announces nominations for best credits song on an Iranian film or series.

Local media reported on Saturday that the 17th edition of the Hafez Awards revealed the following nominees for best song at opening or end credits of onscreen works produced over the last Persian calendar year that ended on 21 March 2017.

1. Salar Aqili for opening/end credits song on ‘The Enigma of the Shah’ series
2. Mohammad Alizadeh for opening/end credits song on ‘Brother’ series
3. Farzad Farzin and Fereydoun Asraei for opening/end credits song on ‘Romatic’ series
4. Kaku Band for opening/end credits song on ‘Aspirin’ series
5. Mohammad Motamedi for opening/end credits song on ‘Cyanide’ film
6. Sonu Nigam for opening/end credits song on ‘Salaam Mumbai’ film

The 17th edition of the Hafez Awards, to be held in August, is Iran’s first and only private awards in the film industry annually organized by the Persian cinematic monthly, Donya-ye Tasvir.
